Next course: 12-13 September 2020
Our two-day dovetailing course is ideal for anyone who wants to know more about dovetailing – the mark of a master craftsman. A well-executed dovetail joint is the epitome of high-level craftsmanship. However, it’s surprisingly easy with the right tuition. Come and learn techniques used and taught here at robinson house studio. Hand-cut through and lapped dovetails will be demonstrated in stages and students will gain practical experience.
The course is taught by Theo Cook, senior tutor here at robinson house studio. Theo has been awarded two Guild Marks, and is known for his intricate joinery – his Japanese dovetail video got over 40 million views on Facebook!
